Strategically positioned on the River Mersey, our Birkenhead operating centre provides access to multiple always-afloat berths and supports the handling of bulk fertilisers, steel products, and board materials. The site benefits from 325,000 ft² of indoor storage and over 200,000 ft² of outdoor storage, with facilities accredited to TASCC, FEMAS and FIAS, ensuring full compliance for feed related cargoes.

Birkenhead also features on-site bagging facilities including a robotic bagging plant producing 10 kg and 25 kg formats, and a fixed fertiliser bagging & blending plant capable of producing a variety of sizes between 250kg and 1000kg. This allows bulk materials to be efficiently converted into a wide variety of market ready products.

Our modern haulage fleet operates directly from the site, completing the logistics chain and enabling NW Trading to offer customers a fully integrated, end-to-end logistics solution from vessel discharge through to final delivery.
